Minxi Ju Jason He/His/Him
Born and raised in Jiangsu, China. I moved to New York in 2015 and studied and worked there for 7 years. I came back to China in 2022 and started working in Shanghai after graduating from MFA Design and Technogoly at Parsons School of Design. Minxi Ju is my Chinese name and I go by Jason.
About me
Through my studies at Pratt and Parsons and my relatively short work experience, I have gained individual understanding of design and the difficulties and barriers involved in taking a design from the initial idea to the final prototype. I believe that the details of each step from sketch to finished product are part of the design, and this is the attitude and pursuit that I uphold when designing. Additive manufacturing is my favorite production technology, it has reached an unprecedented level of compatibility with industrial design, and as technology advances, the materials and precision supported by additive manufacturing are also evolving rapidly. In my spare time, I like to design everyday objects and artifacts that can be produced quickly and iteratively thanks to 3D printing. These are some of my favorite recent designs and brands: Nothing Ear 2. Dual-tab can. Shelter Desk.
